Student Servant Leadership Team
You are invited to Join our SBSM Student Servant Leadership Team! This is an invitation for students who are following Jesus to have an opportunity to go deeper and learn what it means to serve Jesus wholeheartedly.
What is the purpose of the Student Servant Leadership Team?
- The purpose for SBSM:
- That students following Jesus would have an opportunity to take the next step in their walk!
- That students who want further discipleship would get more time and training!
- That students would find their gifting and use them for God’s glory!
Why should I join the team?
- You should Join because
- God is ready to use you in a mighty way to show love to others, meet the needs of your community, and bring people to him!
- “Don’t wait until God says Go! Go until God says wait!”

What are the requirements for joining the team?
Requirements to Join:
- A growing relationship with Jesus!
- Maintaining an "all in commitment to Christ, Spring Baptist Church, and SBSM.
- Committing to live a life of consistently abiding in God’s Word, praying, and showing others at school, home, etc., a Christ-like attitude that reflects your committed, daily walk with Him.
- Committing to live a life above reproach, especially when it comes to social media, friendships, dating, etc., and modeling this to peers.
- Committing to make His Mission / My Calling
- Consistent involvement in SBSM weekly activities (LifeGroups, Youth Night, etc.)
- Application filled out!
Expectations once I’m on the team:
- Model a growing relationship with Jesus

- Maintain consistent involvement in Weekly SBSM activities (LifeGroups, Youth Night, etc.) and big events (DNOW, Mission Trip, Camp, etc.)
- Find your place to serve in our student ministry and begin serving!
- Welcome/hospitality
- First Time Guest Follow Up
- Leading at Youth Night Services both onstage and off.
- Assisting the SBSM Team in the planning, preparation, and execution of special events throughout the year.

- Attend Monthly Student Servant Leadership Team Meetings!
- Attend Quarterly Service Project and Leadership Training Days!
- Attend Yearly Leadership Retreat!
